Tarver-Rendon Elementary is an impressive academic campus with a diverse population of approximately 540 students. Tarver-Rendon is classified as a school-wide Title I program and offers exemplary instructional programs grades Kindergarten through Fourth grade as well as Pre-Kinder classes, English as a Second Language (ESL) program, Gifted and Talented (GT) program, and a continuum of Special Education services. Nestled in the rural community known as Rendon, Tarver-Rendon Elementary provides its students with strong academic foundations within a safe, family-oriented environment.

TAKS Information Booklets

The Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was implemented beginning in spring 2003. To provide educators and parents with a better understanding of TAKS and its connection to the statewide curriculum, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has developed newly revised editions of the TAKS information booklets .
