GO GREEN
Way to go Timberview Energy Champions! Timberview High School is once again a National Energy Star Qualifier. We managed to decrease our energy usage by 6% between 2010 and 2011 despite enduring one of the coldest winters (2011) and hottest summers (2011) on record. In addition, our student population increased significantly, and we were forced to use classrooms previously used for storage. Keep up the good work!
Please continue to:
Keep doors closed.
Turn off projectors and computers at the end of the day (Off means off, Blank/Sleep still means on).
Unplug Power Strips that are rarely used (“Ghost Loads”).
Turn lights off whenever possible (especially storage rooms).
