Howard Collection
The T.A. Howard library collection consists of more than
11,000 books and reference materials. Additionally, we subscribe to
20 different periodicals and 2 local newspapers.
Computers
Access to the Internet and subscription databases is
provided through the library computer stations. Printing is limited
to three pages per assignment.
Library
Passes
Students may visit the library at any time during the
school day with a pass from their teacher. Advisory is a great time
for students to come to the library for book check out or to take care
of library business.

Check Out Procedures
Students visit the library every two weeks with their language
arts classes. Reference books must be viewed in the library; magazines may by checked out overnight.
All other books are checked out for two weeks. Students must have a school
ID card to check out when they are not with a class.
Fines
A fine of 10 cents per day is charged for overdue books
Lost
Books
Students will pay the replacement fee of the book plus
a $2.00 processing fee. If the book is found, students will be refunded
the cost of the book minus the processing fee.
