NJHS News:
- Remember to listen to the announcements for information regarding volunteer opportunities, meetings, and other important information!
- First NJHS Meeting: Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 7:45 a.m. in room C2!! We will discuss breakfast at Charlie's, shirts, and officer elections! Meetings are mandatory--if you have to miss a meeting you must see an advisor prior to the meeting to be excused.
- Ticket are available beginning Friday, August 29 for breakfast at Charlie's. Come have eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, juice, milk, and coffee with NJHS on Saturday morning, September 13 from 7:00 a.m. until 10 p.m. See an NJHS member for tickets or buy at the door! Tickets are $5.00 each. See the flyer »
- NJHS members--it is never too early to start earning service hours. Twelve hours are due each semester. Get documentation forms from Mrs. Shelton, Mrs. Barker, or Mrs. Maddock.
Parents and Students:
- Good News!! Using the public libraries is now FREE. For eons, residents in one town had to pay a fee to be a library patron in another town.
After September 1, you can live in Arlington or Mansfield or points beyond and get a library card in these libraries. Yeah!
AND, more good news!!! The Arlington Public Library offers Live Homework Help and it is FREE!!!
It is for Grades 4-12 with help in math, science, English, and Social Studies. It is offered 3-10PM everyday and 3-9 PM Sunday - Thursday for Spanish. Go to www.arlingtonlibrary.org.
