- Battle of the Books- Congratulations to our team for bringing home the trophy for district champions!!!
- FishFest 2010- Please bring your money on Tuesday to register for Summit FishFest which will be held on August 11-12 from 6-9 pm, both evenings, at the Summit Commons Foyer.
- Talent Show- All student performers for the Night of Knights school wide talent show need to bring their costumes to Ms. Bryan's room by next Tuesday morning. You will need to have your costume in order to practice and perform that morning. Harlequins performing at the awards ceremony tomorrow have rehearsal today from 4-5pm.
- Academy Awards Night- Congratulations to many fine actors and techies. You have been nominated for an award from the Howard Harlequins. The names of the first semester nominees ARE listed outside Mrs. Bryan's door this morning. Come by and see who you are. The nominated categories are: Best Actor and Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor and Actress in supporting role, Best Technical Achievement, and Best Cameo Appearance. Theatre student nominees from the second semester will be posted MONDAY, May 24th. Each nominee will receive an award at the Howard Harlequins' 12th Annual Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 25th, at 7:00pm. That night the trophies will also be presented for the Best nominee in each the categories. Who will be names Best Actress or Actor? The suspense is in the air. Come dressed like the Academy Awards Night and receive your award Tuesday, May 25th, at 7pm.

- Golf- Congratulations to our 8th grade golfers who participated in the District Tournament last Thursday!! Two girls even finished in 3rd and 4th places for their individual division. Thanks again to our Golf Teams for their excellent representation of TA Howard!!
- Academy Awards- Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners! Come see Mrs. Bryan if you need to pick up your award. Thanks for making the Harlequins' 09-10 theatre season a fantastic and groovy season. To all of our 8th graders, we wish you the best at high school and to our wonderful, talented 7th graders: SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!

- FCA- is playing dodge ball today from 4:15-5:00pm. If you have any questions, ask Coach McDaniel.
- Study Island- For all of those of you who need more Study Island time, we have ADDED another section for next Tuesday morning. There are only a few sessions of Study Island left for the year. You have enough time to help at least one of your failing six weeks grades. If you have a pass to Study Island, please come and get the credit! We know you want to pass for the year.
