MANFIELD SUMMIT PTSA
Welcome to the Summit High School PTSA page. My name is Renee McCollins and I am your 2011/12 PTSA president. We are looking forward to some exciting things this year. Summit High School’s PTSA is made up of Parents, Teachers and Students. During the school year, PTSA is involved in Cookie Sales (Thursdays /Fridays), After Prom, Scholarships, Teacher Appreciations and other programs. 2011 SCHOOL REGISTRATION
Well it's that time again. This year Summit will be offering you the opportunity to get your registration done prior to schedule pick up. Starting July 11th, you may stop by the counseling center on M-Th between the hours of 7:30a to 5:00p and pick up your packet of information and turn in your proof of residency. By completing your packets and turning in all information by Aug 1st, your student will receive a fast pass and discounted School ID. The fast pass allows you to pass through the lines during schedule pick up. Schedule pick up will be as follows:
August 9th -Seniors
August 10th - Juniors
August 11th - Freshmen
August 12th- Sophmores
MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
PTSA Membership Drive will begin this month. Summit PTSA is open to students, parents, teachers and community members. Membership is $12. Students signing up for PTSA will receive a cookie card, valid for free cookies during the school year. All seniors must be a member of PTSA in order to be eligible for our scholarship at the end of the year. Senior membership deadline is October 15th. Early membership drives will be on the following dates:
July 28-Band Parent Meeting
August 4th- Football Parent Meeting
August 10th and 11th - Fish Fest
August 9th - 12 - Schedule Pick up
We will need volunteers to work the memebership drives. If you are interested in helping please contact Joanne Romans at jromans@sbcglobal.net.

COOKIE SALES
Summit PTSA conducts one major fundraiser all year long and that cookie sales. We need volunteers to work Thurdays and Fridays between the hours of 6:30am and 1pm. Pam will schedule you in shifts according to your availability. If this is something you are interested in please contact Pam Ikner at pamikner@sbcglobal.net.
