December 2009 - Roberta Tipps Elementary participated in two community outreach opportunities- a toy drive to benefit the Wesley Mission Center and a fundraiser event in honor of Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County.

Students and staff had two opportunities to spread joy in our community. Each grade level had their own toy theme, and for every dollar brought for Meals on Wheel, students were given a car to color and attach to a bulletin board located at the front of the school.

The students and staff of Roberta Tipps donated a total of 268 toys and raised $1,368 for Meals on Wheels.
