KERA Word Problem Winners - Two students from Mary Orr Intermediate won the KERA word problem contest. 600 kids entered from all over the DFW area and MISD was the only school district that had two winners from the same school.  Both boys won an iPod Nano and will have their word problem and picture featured on the KERA Web site.

The MISD Education Foundation awards Orr Intermediate over $4,500 in grants on November 12, 2008. Our winners:
