Ms. Sharon Ferguson

Ms. Ferguson is a native of Illinois. She has taught in several midwestern states and California.  As a teacher, Ms. Ferguson taught in a variety of situations and grade levels for over fifteen years.  Prior to becomng a principal at Glenn Harmon, Mrs. Ferguson spent eight years as a Vice Principal for a year-round elementary school in Antioch, California.

Personal hobbies include gardening, reading and enjoying the outdoors.  Cats are her favorite and there are three at home in the grand total of twelve in her life at this point in time.      "One can never have too many cats."  

As a child growing up Ms. Ferguson always wanted to be a teacher.  Many dolls did lots of homework!  Being an elementary school principal has been a lifelong goal.  Ms. Ferguson says, "I enjoy each and every day I spend at Glenn Harmon.  My students and staff make me very proud of their accomplishments and learning."

In the 2008-2009 school year Glenn Harmon will celebrate 20 years!  We are looking forward to a banner year for the Hawks!!
