April 2011 -
The Pre-K classes of Erma Nash Elementary put on a "Recycled Fashion Show," on April 21. The students modeled special outfits made from recycled materials such as plastic bags, newspapers, milk cartons and more.
This event is a great way to teach students about the importance of taking care of the Earth, and also helps teach them about recyclable items.
Ms. Chavez served as the emcee of the event. The students designed their own costumes with the help of their parents.
