What time does school start and end?
8:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. (Kindergarten is let out 10 minutes early).

What is the earliest time that I can drop my child off at school? 
7:30 a.m. - However, children should not be left unattended prior to the door opening due to safety purposes.

Can I eat lunch with my child? 
You should contact your child's teacher the day prior and send a note to let them know that you will be attending lunch with your child.  Be sure to check in with the office the day of your visit.  To view the daily schedule of lunch times, click here.

How do I contact my child's teacher if I have an issue?
Each teacher has a time of the day that is set aside for parent and team meetings.  You can make arrangements for a teacher to call you by sending a note.  Please note that at the end of each six weeks period you will be provided a meeting time as well.  To view the daily schedule of conference times, click here.

How do I enroll my child in the lunch program, and how do I make a payment on my child's account? 
Contact the cafeteria. Each child is already enrolled in the cafeteria system, and make a payment; standard lunches are $2.00, discounted lunches are also available upon approval (contact the cafeteria).  Breakfast is $1.25. To make a payment on an account, send a check in your child's folder inside of an envelope with your child's name, teacher's name and the amount.  Make checks payable to;  DP Morris.

What if I just want my child to eat in the cafeteria one day?
Send $2.00 in an envelope with your child's name, teacher's name, and the amount enclosed. 

Is an after school care program provided at the school?  If so, how do I enroll my child?
It is provided by Mansfield after school care, please call 817-477-4505 for rates and information.  The program starts immediately after school and is open until 6pm each day. 

What is the dress code for MISD?
The District's dress code is established to teach grooming and hygiene, instill discipline, prevent disruption, avoid safety hazards, and teach respect and authority.  Clarification regarding apparel should be obtained PRIOR TO WEARING IT TO SCHOOL.  Click here for items that are considered under the dress code policy.
