Happy Holidays from DP Morris!

Thank you for supporting our Holiday Open House! The kids enjoyed making the ornaments and crafts and were able to raise over $2500. I was able to take 28 kids to shop for presents for those in need and we spent the week giving. What a blessing!

Great things are happening at Morris!

This fall we implemented our Intervention Time in every grade level. It is going well and our students are making excellent progress.Our efforts to look for "good" are paying off. The new school wide expectations, tickets, and assemblies are some of the things that have resulted in reducing discipline/office referrals by 83%.

30- End of the Year Celebration Luau at Hawaiian Falls!!!! Students will earn "Morris Money" during the spring for good work, good behavior, test scores, and spend them at the luau.

Getting homework done is a parent and child responsibility. Classes earn points when they have 90% or more turn in their homework. Students who do not do their homework will do it during recess. Look for a weekly newsletter from me. It always comes on colored paper.
