Follow the directions that your teacher gives you to have a product of which you can be proud. Generally, the following rules apply to manuscripts.
- Use Arial, Courier, and New Times Roman fonts. These are clean and crisp and easy for almost any reader to see.
- Use a 12 point font. Do not try to be clever with font size. Remember, this is an educational assignment.
- Use 1" margins throughout the paper.
- Double-space your document.
- Use spell-check and grammar-check.
- Do not forget to turn in a "Works Cited" page (bibliography). Cite only those sources which you actually used to prepare the paper.
