What is Whiz Quiz?
Whiz Quiz is an academic competition in which teams of various schools compete
using a buzzer system to answer questions and score points for their team.

Requirements:

1.) Students must have an overall grade point average of 80

2.) No pass. No play.

3.) No N's or U's in citizenship. Discipline referrals to the office could end in suspension from the team.

4.) No unexcused absences for practice.

5.) Students must study at home.

6.) Students must attend after school practices until 4:30 p.m. Working lunches will also be necessary.

7.) 5th and 6th grade academic teams will be consulted as to his/her ability to work well in a group.

Guidelines:

1.) All matches are played one day a week after school beginning after Thanksgiving through March.

2.) Three to 15 students will be selected.

3.) Students will be required to purchase a team T-shirt to be worn at all matches.

4.) Parents are responsible for promptly picking up their child after all practices and matches.

5.) The team will be transported to and from all matches by volunteer parents and coaches.

6.) Failure to meet deadlines could result in the student not being allowed to play in a match or removal from the team.
