CAE Bruster's Ice Cream Night
On Thursday, October 7, 2010, Charlotte Anderson held an ice cream eating contest at Brusters Ice Cream on South Cooper Street. Dr. Beaird challenged PE Coach Kim Genualdi and Pre K teacher Jackie Faustino to see who could eat a giant 5 scoop hot fudge sundae the fastest. Let's just say Dr. Beaird now holds yet another title. He was crowned 'Pizza Princess' in 2009 and now holds the title of 'CAE Ice Cream King'. Although Dr. Beaird was the clear winner and ate his large pile of delicious Brusters Ice Cream the quickest, Coach Kim and Mrs. Faustino said it was so yummy they could have eaten even more!
Thank you to all the CAE families that came out to Brusters to support this event.

Anderson Elementary takes part in Anti-Bullying Day
On October 12, 2010, Charlotte Anderson PTA hosted the "POWER OF ONE" anti-bullying program for all CAE students (Pre K-4th). Skits and costumes got the students involved in role play to help demonstrate just how bullying can be stopped. This program encouraged zero tolerance for bullying and taught the students that their voice counts and they can be "the Power of One". Thank you Charlotte Anderson PTA! We appreciate all you do for our students.
