Wildcat Cheerleaders Win Big at NCA Cheer Camp

August 2007 - Wester Middle School Cheerleaders hosted an NCA sponsored cheer camp in August.  The Wildcat Cheerleaders won several team awards.  The team received three superior ribbons and one excellent ribbon, three spirit sticks, the technical excellence award for tumbling, the Top Team Performance trophy, and the Herkie Award.  The team also received an NCA bid. The team had ten members named to the NCA All-American Squad. Other awards received were:  Shayla Blackwell- Leadership Award and Karli Reed – Top All-American Cheerleader.
