Principal's Message

I want to welcome you to Wester Middle School. Named after Brooks Wester, a longtime teacher in the Mansfield schools, this is our fifth year serving our community. Our faculty and staff is committed to meeting the unique needs of all our students.  Home to over 900 students, our goal is to provide each individual a positive successful learning experience in an enjoyable, safe, and orderly environment. Wester teachers maintain high expectations for their students and themselves.

In the short history of our school, Wester has consistently received high marks by the Texas Education Agency.  I am proud to be able to say that due to the outstanding achievements of our students, and the efforts of our staff and parents, Wester is currently rated as a "Recognized " school.  If you don't already know or haven't asked any of our students, everyday we end our announcements with the saying, "It's great to be a Wildcat!"  As the school year progresses, I think you will see why it's our school motto.

At Wester Middle School we encourage  and welcome parent and community involvement. We understand the importance and value of  the home and school working hand in hand for the success of our children.  I am excited about the school year and invite you to visit us at our website or in person.  I look forward to a great year for our students.
