Introduction

Hello math detectives! There are many great math sites on the internet.  Here is your chance to investigate some of these sites with a third grade partner!

The Task

You and your partner will:

  • Investigate eight great math sites and play the game on each one.
  • Use your tally sheet to vote on your favorite of the five math games.

Once everyone has finished, we will create a bar graph to show our results!

The Process

  • Your teacher will match you with a partner from third grade.
  • You will be looking at the sites listed above.
  • You should play each game at least once on each site.
  • Get a voting ballot from your teacher.  Vote for the site you like the most, and turn your ballot in to your teacher.
  • After everyone has voted, your teachers will help tally the ballots.
  • We will show the results on a bar graph which we will make as a class.
