NOTE: All offices will be closed Monday, July 3 - Friday, July 7, 2017 for the Fourth of July Break with the exception of the MISD Police Department and campuses operating summer enrichment programs.

Judy K. Miller Elementary to house Charlotte Anderson Elementary students & staff during campus renovations - Miller Elementary students and staff will share space with Charlotte Anderson Elementary (in 2016-17) while their facility is being rebuilt. An Attendance Zone Review for Mansfield ISD elementary schools was conducted March 2016 in response to the annual demographic report presented during the January 2016 School Board meeting. Texas House Bill 505 Expands Dual Credit Opportunities - A new state law was put into effect that expands the opportunities students have to earn college credit while still enrolled in high school. Read more...
MISD Moves Forward with A/B Block Schedule for High Schools - MISD high schools will move to the A/B block schedule in the 2016-2017 school year. A/B block schedule means students will take 4 classes on “A” days and 4 different classes on “B” days. Read article.

Middle School iPad Deployment - In January, Mansfield ISD began offering iPads as a part of middle schoolers instructional program. This program is a partnership between schools and parents to provide students with an innovative and engaging learning environment. Mansfield ISD named 2015 Energy Partner of the Year - For the second year in a row, Mansfield ISD has been named 2015 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year. The award is given by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to organizations who implement outstanding efforts to improve the energy efficiency of U.S. buildings and facilities. Read more...
GreenQuest - The MISD Energy Management team would like to make the public aware of a free utility-tracking website that enables users to compare their utility usage to similar homes, track their bills/usage data, and see other site recommendations for making homes more energy efficient.
