Mansfield ISD introduced an Ambassador of Education Award in 2016 to show appreciation to the community members who dedicate their time and energy to support education. The award is given to a person for being a true ambassador for the students and staff of Mansfield ISD.
“Mansfield ISD makes being involved so easy,” Phillips said. “Everybody has a teacher story. Nobody has a hospital administrator story. Thank you for doing what you do. Doesn’t matter what you do in the district, you’re having an impact. You’re amazing people.”
The award was presented to Phillips at the 2017 Mansfield ISD Recognition Banquet on May 8.
