MANSFIELD, TX – Mansfield ISD joins with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in congratulating the students who have been designated as Semifinalists in the 50th annual National Achievement Scholarship Program. The NMSC announced the names of 1,600 semifinalists across the U.S. on Wednesday in its annual scholarship program recognizing outstanding African-American students.

Congratulations Semifinalist:

  • Ireoluwawamiwa O. Olagbami, Mansfield Summit High School

Ireoluwawamiwa will now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for approximately 800 Achievement Scholarship awards worth about $2.5 million that will be offered next spring. To be considered for a National Achievement Scholarship, semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the finalist level of the competition.
