J.L. Boren Elementary and Alice Ponder Elementary move into their new facilities - The two schools were demolished and completely rebuilt under the 2011 approved bond election. Students will return from the winter break to the new campuses on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

Education Foundation Awards Grants to Staff - The Mansfield ISD Education Foundation completed its 32nd round of grants on Thursday, December 4 by surprising unsuspecting teachers and staff. Mansfield ISD named 2014 Energy Partner of the Year - On April 29, Mansfield ISD was honored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) at the 2014 ENERGY STAR Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. for our outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency.
