NEW! Parking Regulations

Beginning on Thursday April 10, 2015, all students will be required to park in the back parking lot between the school and our football field. The parking lot in the front along Turner Warnell will be for staff only. All student drivers will be required to park in the back and enter the building through the Jag Room entrance. This change is being made to provide better security for all students and staff. We want our front office personnel to be able to effectively monitor persons passing through our main entrance. Our security officer will begin writing citations soon so please avoid a ticket and park your vehicle in the back parking lot.

AP Test Registration and Updated Information

At the board meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, changes were made to Advanced Placement courses with regard to weighted credit and exemptions. In previous years, students who passed an AP class and took the corresponding AP test were given weighted credit of 10 points for each semester and were also given an additional exemption from the student’s semester exam in that AP course.

Effective Immediately-A student enrolled in an AP course will receive weighted credit if the student passes the course. It is not mandatory for a student to take the AP test to receive weighted credit. With regard to exemptions and AP courses, students will not receive an additional exemption for taking the AP exam.
