Welcome to one of the newest clubs at Mansfield High School!

(Check out the NOOMA Club page at www.myspace.com/nooma_club!)

NOOMA Club meets twice monthly, every other Wednedsay in room R13, beginning September 19 in the 2007-08 school year. This is a student-led, campus-wide fellowship that comes together for about 45 minutes after school to watch one of the NOOMA series videos, short films that offer a Christian perspective on the issues that effect each one of us-- students and teachers alike-- in the world today.

NOOMA Club is for everyone, all students (and teachers) are welcome... NOOMA Club meetings are meant to encourage positive living, offer spiritual direction, and build friendships.

So, what does NOOMA mean?  The name NOOMA is an English phonetic spelling of the Greek word pneuma, which is commonly translated to “spirit” or “breath."  Pneumatology refers to the study of spiritual beings, particularly the interactions between humans and God.
