Do you need help with
a community service project?
JROTC knows that each community needs a little help
sometimes. We are always happy to get our cadets involved in the
community, for service learning is one of the best things we can
do to exercise our cadet leaders' minds and their leadership styles.
Cadets may prove exceptionally helpful at your carnival,
picnic, sports event, special education celebration, civil service
project, UIL competition and even hospital-related service occasion.
Cadets may not engage in political campaigns, hazardous service,
law enforcement roles, or other situations that may bring embarassment
or humiliation to MISD, Army JROTC, or our cadets. Please remember,
these are your kids.
We must ask that you approach us soon enough to get
the word out to each cadet and request the permission of their parents
in advance. Generally speaking, three weeks is a sufficient planning
window for us to get cadets in action to help.
Our young people welcome the opportunity to serve
the Mansfield community. They are willing to work quite hard to
make your event a success. You can reach us by selecting the "Contact
Us" link to the left or by clicking here. |
