
Mr. Low received his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from North Texas State University. He was elected as a member of an honorary academic fraternity, Phi Kappa Lambda. Currently, Mr. Low teaches Music Theory I, Music Theory II, and directs A cappella Mixed Choir, A cappella Ladies’ Choir, and A cappella Men’s Choir. The Mansfield High School Choirs have had many honors over the years in UIL Concert/Sight-reading, UIL Solo/Ensemble, Texas State Solo and Ensemble, many students earning positions in the Texas Music Educators’ Association All-District Choir, All-Region Choir, All-Area Choir, and the All-State Choir. Many students have received scholarships to various colleges and universities. Some of the highlights of Mr. Low’s tenure include directing seven Broadway Musicals, concerts, trip festivals, a joint Mansfield Choir and Band production at the Meyerson Symphonic Center in April, 2001, and the Bass Performance Hall production in April, 2002. This year will be the 29th year for Mr. Low to be the Mansfield High School Choir director. Mr. Low has completed teaching choir for 40 years total, and he is now beginning his 41st year. He is an encourager and loves his students. Mr. Low and his wife, Linda, have four children---Ambre, Asa, Aaron, and Andrew. He and his wife are very active in their church and have been involved in leading marriage counseling and marriage seminars.

Dr. Andrews received her Bachelor of Music Education from Centenary College of Louisiana, with a concentration in piano and certification in piano and vocal music. She received the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Andrews taught piano and theory at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She has served as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Seminary for the last nineteen years and is beginning her nineteenth season with the Arlington Master Chorale. She has many years of experience in accompanying and coaching choirs and vocalists. Dr. Andrews also teaches piano and is frequently asked to serve as an adjudicator for piano festivals and competitions throughout northeast Texas. She has two sons, Zane and Byron.
