Open to all MISD students birth through 4th grade

In a past meeting, the halls of Ben Barber were filled with parents and students of MISD as they "Hip Hopped with Froggy". ESL Lead Teacher Ann McAskill came dressed as Finklehopper Frog to lead the children in literacy activities to promote reading and understanding in a science format. A great time was had by all!

a cadre of teachers representing 11 school districts within the
ESC Region XI area.
- Why MAPSS? (Program Purpose) - To develop a parent education program designed to foster and enhance early reading development.

- When are the meetings? - The Program meets 4 times a year, on a Thursday evening, from 7:00 p.m.

- Who can come? - M.A.P.S.S. is for parents of children ages' birth - 4 th grade, attending school in the Mansfield Independent School District, although none will be turned away.
