Thank you for your interest in our program. Please complete an application for the next available driver education class. MISD Driver Education classes will continue through the school year and summer. The tentative class dates are listed on page two of the application. DrEd applications will be available during the semester both on-line and available in the front reception office. Students will be notified upon acceptance into the program.
Driver education classes meet Monday through Friday (3:00PM - 5:00PM). The cost of our program is $265.00 for 16 two hour class periods, 7 one hour in-car observation lessons, and 7 one hour in-car driving lessons. An additional $5.00 fee will be required for students to receive their instructional permit from the Department of Public Safety. Instructors will be educators from the Mansfield ISD.
