Primary Purpose:
  Create and maintain application objects, image sets and policies throughout the district via zenwork administration.
Qualifications:
  Education/Certification:
  CNE or CNA with 2 yrs exp (Zenworks management)
  Special Knowledge/Skills:
  Knowledge of Netware directory and managing Netware services
Knowledge of Zenworks 6.0 or 6.5 management
Knowledge of Imaging application management
Strong organizational, communication and troubleshooting skills
Ability to establish policy and application structure in accordance to customer needs.
  Experience:
  Two years experience in network management and zenworks administration
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
  Zenwork Administration:
  1. Maintain and create application objects.
  2. Maintain and create image sets.
  3. Netware policy management.
  4. Install and configure netware software as needed.
  5. Troubleshoot imaging and zenwork related issues.
  6. Provide digital architecture structure of Zenwork system.
  7. Analyze network infrastructure and make recommendations for scaleable implementation of zenwork policies and related applications.
  8. Relocate network hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.
  9. Service equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedule.
10. Maintain accurate updated records of preventive maintenance and network inventory.
11. Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
  Safety:
12. Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
13. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying.
14. Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.

  Frequent districtwide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. May be required to be on-call 24 hours a day.
