| Assists faculty and staff in the use of new and current technologies for instructional purposes. Assists in staff development on educational applications of technologies. Implements and promotes instructional technologies throughout the school. | |||

| Experience: | |||
| Three years experience as a classroom teacher with any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities; related field and/or applied experience in instructional development with a background in the uses of new technologies for instruction; and/or experience in computer courseware design and instructional technology. | |||
| Major Responsibilities and Duties: | |||
| 1. Maintain campus websites. 2. Assists faculty development, which integrates technology in instruction. · Analyzes and evaluates new technologies for potential applications in instruction. · Promotes the implementation of technological innovations. · Creates demonstrations of instructional applications of technologies for the school · Plans, coordinates, and conducts special topics workshops in the use of technologies in instruction for faculty and staff. 3. Consults with faculty and staff in developing instructional uses of technologies. 4. Provides assistance to faculty, staff, and administrators who have instructional technology needs. 5. Installs, configures, and maintains network software. 6. Limited troubleshooting of problems with computer hardware and peripherals for the school for Instructional Technology. 7. Recommends new technologies, hardware, software, and related manuals for acquisition to the campus principal/site based team. 8. Performs related duties as assigned. · Serves as a team member in the design of technology-related instruction. · Software database administrator · Attend monthly instructional technologist meetings · Attend campus faculty meeting at scheduled campus each week · Complete professional development. |
