| Facilitate the input, review, management and reporting of the district's Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data to the Texas Education Agency. | |||

| Major Responsibilities and Duties: | |||
| Records and Reports: | |||
| 1. Coordinate the collection, integration, and formatting
of all data required for PEIMS submission according to PEIMS Data Standards. 2. Work cooperatively with campus, business office, and personnel office staff to collect, organize, and format data required to submit district PEIMS data in a timely manner. 3. Run edits, reports, and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of information. 4. Distribute edits and reports to appropriate staff for analysis, verification, and correction. 5. Submit complete and accurate PEIMS data in Texas Education Agency (TEA)-prescribed format to education service center (ESC) for processing using Edit +. 6. Verify data submitted to TEA and submit corrections in a timely manner. 7. Provide standard reports to administrative staff summarizing district PEIMS data. 8. Maintain the "manual" changes in PEIMS data. 9. Monitor and correct PID errors for District including submissions to Region XI or State for "manual" updates. 10. Provide and update all code changes from TEA and documentation. 11. Perform beginning and year-end processing through Region 10. 12. Maintain files with all PEIMS reported information for audit purposes. |

| 13. Oversee the district process, researching errors and providing
campus data clerks with reports for verification. 14. Create and implement safeguard procedures to ensure the accuracy of the PEIMS data. 15. Monitor student data entered for PEIMS and state compliance. 16. Provide "Help Desk" to all district personnel with questions. 17. Communicate with schools on update codes and correction from TEA and required for PEIMS. 18. Investigate and assist in the implementation of possible improvements in the management of information relating to attendance, grade reporting, scheduling, demographic data, and lunchroom use. 19. Manage upload/download of information for various departments. 20. Assist in facilitating a district wide grade reporting attendance system. |

| Training and Technical Support : | |||
| 21. Provide training and support to campuses, business, and
personnel office staff responsible for processing PEIMS data. 22. Receive PEIMS related information from ESC and TEA and disseminate to other staff in a timely manner, including updates to PEIMS Data Standards. 23. Assist in providing discipline and leaver training for administrators. 24. Assist in providing staff training as needed or requested from campuses. 25. Serve as a liaison between district personnel and ESC. 26. Acquire the knowledge and training to consistently remain competent in the management of PEIMS through attending all regional PEIMS workshops and Users meetings. |
