Primary Purpose:
 

Electronically manage all assessment data, provide software and online testing support to campuses, and assist the district test coordinator with all state and locally-mandated testing functions.

Qualifications:
  Education/Certification:
  Bachelor's degree. Master's preferred.
  Special Knowledge/Skills:
 

-Advanced computer skills with at least three years experience managing complex databases such as Paradox, Foxpro, and/or Access.
-Expertise in SPSS, Excel, Crystal Reports, Sequel, Design Expert, and AEIS IT.
-Extensive experience in records management and reporting.
-Demonstrated ability to manage online testing activities.

  Experience:
 

-Ability to develop and deliver technology and software training to adult learners.
-Extensive knowledge of the state testing program and accountability system.
-Experience applying problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to computer software and hardware.
-Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others under pressure and adhere to tight timelines.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
  Design data analysis programs and applications in SPSS, Excel, Paradox, Crystal Reports, and/or Design Expert.
  Assist in the analysis and reporting of student assessment results to district staff, community members, and media.
  Assist in training schools on the use of online systems to assess students and provide technical assistance as needed.
  Participate in the design and implementation of web-based reporting programs.
  Develop and maintain district level databases containing student performance data.
  Develop and assist in the maintenance of intranet capabilities for communicating and exchanging data with campuses.
  Write programs to automate frequent reports and data analysis.
  Apply technical skills to support schools use of AEIS IT.
  Assist in the conceptualization, design, and analyses of student assessment data to identify historical trends and to predict student performance.
  Assist in the ordering, receiving, and distributing of assessment materials.
