The Mansfield ISD Athletics Department will hold the 4th Annual Fan Fest on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Vernon Newsom Stadium.
 Fan Fest has become the annual free kick-off event at Newsom Stadium. It features the District's high school varsity football teams, drumlines, cheerleaders, and drill teams. Community members can take this opportunity to choose their seats and purchase football season tickets, meet the football players and coaches on the field while enjoying an evening in a pep rally-like atmosphere.
Along with the varsity football teams and coaches, this year's Fan Fest will feature exhibitions by:
- Mansfield Legacy High School Drumline
- Mansfield Timberview High School Drumline
- Mansfield Summit High School Cheerleaders
- Mansfield High School Drill Team
Addtionally, Fan Fest will provide family-friendly offerings including:
- Free Hot Dogs
- Concessions Available
- Season Ticket Sales
- Spiritwear
- Bake Sale Items
- Free T-Shirts (limited quantities available)
- plus on-field time for the kids
