The Mansfield ISD School Board named Lea Boiles as the new principal for Elizabeth Smith Elementary at their July meeting.

On Tuesday, July 27, the school board approved the principal assignment for Lea Boiles at Elizabeth Smith Elementary School. Lea Boiles has been the assistant principal at Danny Jones Middle School in the MISD since 2006. Prior to that she was an assistant principal and special education teacher in the Fort Worth ISD.
“It is truly an honor and privilege to be joining the outstanding community of Elizabeth Smith Elementary School,” said Boiles on her new MISD assignment.
“The dedication and hard work of this campus is evident in every aspect of the school culture.
I am eager to continue the legacy of success for all students that is represented by the Stallion Spirit!”
Lea Boiles takes over as principal following the retirement of Smith Elementary principal Rita Ashley at the end of the 2009-10 school year after 30 years of dedicated service in education including nine in MISD.
