At the November 17 Regular School Board Meeting, Trustees approved building the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts at the Ben Barber Career Tech Academy site by a 5-1 vote.
The Mansfield ISD appreciates the effort that has been put forward by The City of Mansfield to present a possible location for the future Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts, but has decided not to accept the offer. Based on this decision, the Center will be built on the site adjacent to the Ben Barber Career Tech Academy. This was the site originally being considered by the school district. Mansfield ISD looks forward to a continued partnership with The City of Mansfield on other projects.

Claude Cunningham Performance Hall
John Washington Professional Development Center
