Coble and Howard Middle School principals named

The Mansfield ISD School Board named two new principals for Coble Middle School and T.A. Howard Middle School at their May meeting.

On Tuesday, May 25, the school board approved the principal assignments for Charlotte Ford (James Coble Middle School) and Des Stewart (T.A. Howard Middle School.)

Dr. Charlotte Ford has been an Assistant Principal in the district at Summit High School since 2009. Prior to serving in Mansfield ISD she was an Assistant Principal and science teacher in the Arlington ISD as well as a teacher in the Birdville ISD.

“I am excited to be the next principal of James Coble Middle School,” said Dr. Ford on her new assignment.

“I look forward to working with the faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members to facilitate academic success and foster personal growth for all students attending Coble. I am committed to continue the tradition of excellence that is deeply embedded into the school's culture. I am honored to be a Coble Coyote!”

DesMontes StewartT.A. Howard Middle School
Des Stewart

Des Stewart has been the Principal at S.H. Crowley Intermediate School in the Crowley ISD. Prior to that Stewart was an Assistant Principal in the Crowley ISD, a teacher and coach in the Fort Worth ISD.

“I am very excited and fired up about joining the T. A. Howard faculty and the MISD family,” said Mr. Stewart on becoming principal.

“I look forward to working with the students, parents and community members in establishing an environment in which all students are successful.”
