The Mansfield ISD School Board named three new principals for Cabaniss Elementary, Timberview High School, and Summit High School at their April meeting.
On Tuesday, April 27, the school board approved the principal assignments for Kisha McDonald (Cabaniss Elementary), Derrell Douglas (Timberview High School), and Jimmy Neal (Summit High School).
Louise Cabaniss Elementary
Kisha MCDonald
 Kisha McDonald has been the Assistant Principal in the district at D.P. Morris Elementary since October of 2007. Prior to that she was a Master Teacher / Instructional Specialist in the Lancaster ISD. McDonald (pictured at right) was also a Reading Specialist, 6th Grade, 5th Grade, and 2nd Grade Teacher in other districts.
“I'm very honored to be the new principal at Cabaniss Elementary,” said Kisha McDonald. “I'm looking forward to meeting the students, faculty and staff.”
Mansfield Summit High School
Jimmy Neal
 Jimmy Neal has been the principal at T.A. Howard Middle School in MISD since 2004. Prior to that time Neal (pictured at right) was the Associate Principal at Summit High School from 2001 to 2004 and Assistant Principal at Worley Middle School from 1998 to 2001.
He has also been an assistant principal, teacher, and head coach in other school districts.
“I am excited and proud to be part of the rich tradition that has been established at Summit.,” said Neal. “I am looking forward to working with students, parents, and faculty members to help continue to build on the successes of the Jaguars. Go Jags!”
Mansfield Timberview High School
Derrell Douglas
 Derrell Douglas has been in the Mansfield ISD since 2006 as the principal of James Coble Middle School. Before that Douglas (pictured at right) was a Principal, Assistant Principal, Teacher and Coach in the Arlington ISD.
“Timberview High School has an outstanding faculty and staff and I'm honored to be joining them,” said Douglas. “Timberview has been very successful in the past and I'm looking forward to us building upon those achievements.”
“I've enjoyed working in this community and am happy that I will be able to continue. Most of my former students from James Coble Middle School are now students at Timberview. I'm anxious to be with them again and to get to know the Wolves I've yet to meet.”

All three newly named principals will split their time during the school week between their new campus and current campus assignments.
