Arlington, TX – Mansfield Summit High School has received the “2007 College Readiness Award.”
The award comes from the Texas ACT Council, given to schools for increasing the number of students taking the ACT Test over the past five years as well as significantly improving their level of achievement on the test.
“We are proud of this recognition for Summit High School,” said Dr. Bob Morrison, Deputy Superintendent. “This is an honor for the high school's staff whose efforts are rewarded through student achievement. We look forward to seeing this type of continued success at all of our campuses.”
Only 79 high schools in Texas, or about 4%, were honored with this award.
