“This is an exciting time for Mansfield ISD high schools,” sayAthletics Director, Debbie Weems. “We feel District 4-5A for Summit & Mansfield and District 8-4A for Timberbview & Legacy are a good fit. All of our teams will have a great opportunity to be successful and believe our chances to go deep into the playoffs are very strong.”

Below is a breakdown of the new districts with MISD schools:

Class 5A District 4 - Mansfield, Mansfield Summit, Arlington, Arlington Bowie, Arlington Houston, Arlington Lamar, and Arlington Martin

Class 4A District 8 - Mansfield Legacy, Mansfield Timberview, Arlington Seguin, Crowley, Everman, Granbury, Joshua, and Stephenville
