MANSFIELD – Five Mansfield Legacy High School students were in a car accident today on 500 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive near Rogene Worley Middle School in Mansfield.
Junior, Lasharon Powell died from injuries sustained from the accident.
Further information on the other students' conditions are unavailable at this time.
Counselors were available all day at Legacy High School on Thursday, December 13.

The students begin the healing process through speaking with counselors and each other as well as writing their thoughts and prayers for their fallen school-mate.
