Girls Basketball Team:
The Summit High School girls basketball team will head to Austin, TX this Friday to play in the 5A state semifinals tournament against Rockwall High School. The game will be broadcast on 92.1 FM KXEZ , and be available to listen on the Internet at www.kxez.com .
The semifinal game will start at 8:30 p.m. this Friday in the Frank Erwin Center located at 1701 Red River Austin, TX 78701. For parking information, click here .
All tickets will cost $10, and can be purchased at Summit High School or through the MISD Athletics Department. Wednesday, February 28, will be the last day to purchase tickets through MISD . The winning team will continue on to play the 5A state finals on Saturday, March 3.
Summit coach Samantha Morrow led the Mansfield Lady Tigers to win four consecutive state titles in 1999-2002. The Summit Lady Jaguars have been to the regional tournament three times in the last five years, and this is their first time to win. The team has won more than 30 games in four of the past five years.

Boys Basketball Team:
The Summit High School boys basketball team will head to Abilene, TX this Friday to play in the 5A regional tournament against Flower Mound Marcus High School. The game starts at 8:00 p.m. in the Moody Coliseum at Abilene Christian University 229 Moody Coliseum, Abilene, TX 79699.
Tickets may only be purchased at the gate-$8 for adults and $5 for students. No passes will be accepted.
The winner of Friday night's game will continue to play on Saturday for a chance to win the regional title.
