Mansfield ISD recently paid tribute to some excellent former educators by dedicating schools in their honor. Those four schools - James L. Coble Middle School, Mary Lillard Intermediate School, Anna May Daulton Elementary and Cora Spencer Elementary - opened their doors to students August 14, 2006.
District officials estimate nearly 1000 community members, friends, students and MISD staff members joined the school district for these four joyful events. Mansfield ISD is currently slated to open nine additional schools in the next five years, included Mansfield Legacy High School, to accommodate the student population growth.
