AVID Returning Tutor Form

Experienced Tutors

If you are eligible for re-hire and would like an AVID Tutor position for the 2010-2011 school year, complete the returning tutor form. Return the form to avidpos@mansfieldisd.org

Tutor Training

AVID tutors are trained to facilitate the AVID 10 Step Tutorial process. Four hours of training are required for returning tutors and sixteen hours for new tutors.

Tutor 2012 Spring Return Dates:

High Schools - Monday, January 9 (A Day); Wednesday, January 11 (B Day)
Middle Schools - Tuesday, January 17

Training Dates:

Tutor Orientation: TWO DATES (SELECT ONE)
Thursday, January 5 | 9:00 - 11:00 pm OR
Friday, January 6 | 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Tutor Training I: Saturday, January 28 | 9:00 am- 3:00 pm*
Tutor Training II: Saturday, February 18 | 9:00 am - 1:00 pm*
(* Attendance is required at both training sessions)
