На востоке Техаса настоящей проблемой стали аллигаторы. Они выползают даже на скоростные трассы, появляются в искусственных водоемах жилых микрорайонов.

Штат принял решение: увеличить отстрел.

1 апреля начинается весенний сезон охоты на аллигаторов в Техасе. Итак, на востоке штата позволяется добыть одного аллигатора каждому охотнику.

Американский аллигатор - самая большая рептилия Северной Америки, он водится в южных штатах, включая восточный Техас. На этих животных велась охота всю первую половину 20-го века, и аллигаторы стали быстро исчезать.
