Since 1989, the HOPE (Harnessing Optimism and Potential through Education) Foundation – a non–profit 501c3, whose Honorary Chair is Archbishop Desmond Tutu – has led the way in tapping into the passion, collective wisdom and leadership to create schools where failure is not an option for any student.

HOPE helps individuals within the school, district and region work as a team or learning community - one that is collectively focused on success for all students.

Ben Barber Career and Technology Acadamy is a learning community that has embraced the the Failure Is Not an Option® Six Principles for sustaining learning communities:
