Legacy Tennis Core Values Respect for Authority Listen to the coaches, teachers and others in position of leadership. Be coachable and willing to listen to advice about your game or about yourself as a person. Respect for Others Respect other players on the Legacy tennis team while in class, on the courts, club or in public. Do not demean, talk bad or engage in gossip about others on your team. Be humble in victory and generous in defeat. Respect for Self No negative self talk. Do not cut yourself or your abilities down. Do not demean yourself or talk to yourself in a manner that you would not want others to do. Be aware and proud of your strengths. Respect for the Rules Know and obey the rules of the Legacy Tennis Program. Do not look for ways to undermine or avoid the rules. All players will know and folloow the USTA "code" of conduct. Accept responsibility for your own actions and do not blame others for your mistakes.
