MISD Natatorium About Us

The natatorium complex with its 980,000 gallon Olympic-sized pool offers physical education classes, holds swim meets, and provides exciting swimming opportunities for the Mansfield ISD community. The facility and pool will be open depending on the needs of the district and club teams as well as any swimming program and classes.

The pool has eight 50-meter racing lanes, 21 25-yard lanes and two diving platforms. A wide deck will allow coaches to assemble their teams for competition, and a concession stand, restrooms, pro shop and L-shaped seating will make visitors comfortable.

The majority of the pool is 8 feet deep, while the area directly under the one-meter and three-meter diving platforms is 14 feet. A section at one end is 3 feet deep and will be used for the community programs. A floating platform can be used to section off different areas of the pool so that more than one group can use it at the same time.
