MISD will observe Texas Public Schools during the week of March 19 - March 23. The ACE Program will sponsor an Open House for students, parents and community members on Monday, March 19 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
- Pasta for Pennies - The ACE High School participated in Olive Garden’s Pasta for Pennies fundraising campaign benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Students collected $1022.63 which surpassed the goal of $100 per house. Congratulations to the Arete (Green) house. They collected $360.53 and earned a complimentary lunch at Olive Garden. - ACE House Program - The ACE High School has implemented a new program this school year designed to build relationships, motivate students, and increase accountability. Staff and student population have been divided into four houses. For more information, please view the presentation.
- Head Start Program - Last semester, ACE High School students participated in a community service project in conjunction with the Kiwanis Club. Books were presented to the local Head Start program by the Kiwanis Club and the ACE students read to the children. ACE students who participated earned ‘community service’ points for their houses. The project was greatly appreciated and a “feel good moment” for everyone involved.

BIC High School - 7:20 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.
ACE High School - 7:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
Our Educational Programs
ACE (Accelerated Classroom Environment) - The A.C.E. Program provides an alternative learning environment for the student age 17 to 21 whose age and academic performance indicate that he/she has not benefited from the traditional educational setting and who exhibits a strong desire to receive a high school diploma.
BIC (Behavior Intervention Center) - In response to Senate Bill I, the Behavior Intervention Center was established to serve the academic and behavioral needs of students who have violated the Student Code of Conduct (Level II offense). Students assigned to BIC receive instruction in the core subjects and a limited number of elective courses. Access to counseling is provided on a daily basis.
