We use our standard communication channels if any changes to the district schedule require adjustment: District Homepage, Weather page, TeleParent phone messenging system, local media outlets, e-mail (Newsletter list for parents/staff/ community) or follow the district on Twitter.
The closing of schools due to inclement weather is the decision of the district administration. The decision to cancel school will be made as early as possible and the radio and TV stations listed below will be notified. They, in turn, will announce the closure.
Please do NOT call school offices or teachers for such information.
Weather and road conditions can vary greatly from area to area. As a result, you, as parents, are the final decision makers regarding your son/daughter's attendance. Please notify the school office if your son/daughter will not be in school or should be dismissed early due to weather conditions. |
