The Mansfield ISD Education Foundation surprised teachers and staff with some very large checks on November 19 and December 1, 2009. The grant patrol, consisting of community members, MISD Administration and Education Foundation Board members, traveled to various MISD campuses to award a total of $132,000 in grants to deserving staff.
The MISD Education Foundation was created to support the educational programs for both the students and teachers for the Mansfield Independent School District. Funds provided by the Foundation directly benefit students in the Mansfield Independent School District and will make a positive difference for them.
